From an 88-acre vineyard in the heart of the Bourg appellation, this is a bold, spicy wine. Its wood aging tends to dominate the fruit and the touch of pepper from the alcohol gives the wine a bite on the palate. Some of this character will soften over time, so wait until 2018.
