The estate recalls the Pontac family, once one of the largest landowners in Bordeaux, who built this grand 16th-century hunting lodge. Today's wine is well balanced with ripe tannins, juicy red fruits and acidity. The 60% Merlot gives a full, generous character, although the tannins need time to soften. Drink from 2024.
