Château Potelle 2000 VGS Zinfandel (Mount Veeder)

Striking for its color, nearly black, suggesting that these mountain grapes are extremely concentrated. Well-toasted oak dominates the aroma, although there are underlying notes of blackberries. Drinks big and massive, with blackberry flavors. A hit of acid shows up on the finish. Cellar material.
