Unusually, Tibouren (a red grape more often found further east near Nice) forms part of the blend of this wine along with white Clairette. The mix gives a spicy, very perfumed wine that has ripe apricot and raspberry fruits. A strong peppery undertow suggests this is more of a food wine.
