This is a succulent, ripe wine that has powerful black fruits as well as strong flavors of spicy, toasty wood. It is rich in the mouth with hints of perfume from the Cabernet Franc in the blend, aided by consultant Hubert de Boüard of Château Angélus. The aftertaste is both juicy and crisp.
