Chateau St. Jean 2002 St. Jean Estate Vineyard Malbec (Sonoma Valley)

Cellar Selection

You're struck by the darkness of this wine. Also it's aroma, which is deep and brooding, like something from a vault. In the mouth, the wine is dry and tannic, intended for the cellar. And with its vast core of black cherry and pomegranate fruit and clean balance, it seems destined to ride out the years. Best after 2009 and beyond.
