Production of this single-vineyard Cabernet tripled in 2011, perhaps a nod to the quality that this hot site brings to the grapes in a very cool vintage. Great focus is evident in the deeply flavored cassis fruit. It's accented by barrel spice, earth, cedar and espresso, well-integrated and showing the structure for which the vineyard is known.
