Château Tanunda 2009 The Château 100 Year Old Vines Shiraz (Barossa)

Full bodied and supple, this wine shows an interesting array of sensory notes for Barossa Shiraz, with notes ranging from espresso, tar, mint and green peppercorn to dark chocolate and blueberry. Finishes long and softly dusty, suggesting the ability to age through 2020, although it's very drinkable now. Joe Czerwinski
