Château Vieux Chaigneau 2016 Lalande de Pomerol

Owned by the Milhade family, this estate has produced a well-balanced, wood-aged wine. Ripe tannins and spice contrast well with concentrated blackberry fruits and acidity. The wine has potential, and should be drunk from 2022. Roger Voss
