This includes 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and a splash of Malbec and Petit Verdot in the blend. It's beginning to hint at a tawny hue, and the fruit is rounding out into cranberry sauce and plum flavors. Tannins remain stiff and the variety's peppery, herbal edge shows through the nicely balanced finish; only neutral oak was used.
