This reserve-level wine, from the estate's Ribbon Ridge AVA vineyard, is concentrated and complicated. Aging in half new oak barrels piles on flavors of baking spices and toast, while the core of ripe cherry fruit is highlighted with streaks of cola, coffee and tobacco. It's drinking quite nicely and should continue to do so through 2025. Paul Gregutt
