Chehalem 2017 Stoller Vineyard Chardonnay (Dundee Hills)

The transition of Chehalem to new ownership means that the old labels and many of the old names have been revised. This was previously Ian's Reserve, but the Stoller fruit source remains the same. It's a rich, palate-pleasing style, with baked apple fruit flavors and a generous amount of baking spices and barrel flavors of toasted hazelnuts. Buttery and smooth, it glides gracefully through the finish. Drink now–2022. Paul Gregutt
