Tasted alongside the 2015 Aliot at the beginning of 2022, this unique library release shows the rich texture and lip-smacking honey and marzipan flavors that develop in well-aged Rhône-white blends. A Roussanne-dominant dry white matured eight months in oak, it offers marmalade and apricot flavors that are accented by subtle streaks of vanilla and toffee. Full bodied and supple but fresh and vital too, it should continue to evolve nicely through at least 2030. Anna Lee C. Iijima
