Chilcas 2011 Single Vineyard Chardonnay (Casablanca Valley)

Apple and peach aromas are nothing special. So is the palate, which is plump and shows reasonable acidity. Oaky, salty flavors of white fruits turn mildly bitter on the finish, and while this is better than some Chilean Chardonnays, it does little to advance the category. Michael Schachner
