Chilensis 2012 Lazuli Red (Maule Valley)

The heat that dominated the 2012 Chilean vintage is evident in this blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. While the palate is lush, obtuse and dense, it also rings of tartaric acid, and thus the mouthfeel is not in full sync. Heavy oak along with brandied plum flavors are baked through the finish.
