Chimney Rock 2002 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Stags Leap District)

Editors' Choice

Expensive, yes, but this is a wine of very high quality. The Cabernet Sauvignon shines through, showing enormous black currant flavor, and then there are the wonderfully ripe, smooth tannins that make the wine glide like velvet. It seems to be best now, but should hold for some years.
