Chris James 2016 Red (Yamhill-Carlton)

This is a blend of one-third Lagrein and two-thirds Dolcetto from the estate's Old Wagon Road vineyard. Light and fruity, it's quite appealing, drinking much like a Gamay, with flavors of ripe berries front and center. The tannins are just stiff enough to give it a bit of muscle through the finish.
