Chumeia 2000 Simpson Vineyard Syrah (California)

Opens with a burst of white pepper, leather and blackberry in the aroma, then turns extremely soft in the mouth because of low acidity. But the berry-cherry flavors are pretty good. Innocent stuff, and not a bad price.
