Churton 2005 Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough)

An odd duck, but not an unenjoyable one, this is a slightly viscous Sauvignon with a deep straw color and some unusual flavors of canned corn and honey. It's more about texture and weight than forward fruit, with some herbal, capsicum notes on the finish. Joe Czerwinski
