84pointsCiccone 2016 Estate Bottled Pinot Grigio (Leelanau Peninsula)

Loads of pollen and orange-blossom honey are touched with spice on this extremely pungent nose. This is surprisingly dry with bitter lime through out, along with flavors of lemon juice and golden apple. There is a floral note towards the finish ending on navel orange. The nose and palate are totally disconnected and there is a war between grasping astringency and mouthwatering acidity. Fiona Adams
