A field blend of 63% Zinfandel, 19% Petite Sirah and 18% Carignane, this is marked by its pronounced earthiness. While it's austere it's also juicy and balanced. A hint of blueberry pie is contrasted beautifully by the wine's peppery spice and long finish.
