Cherry jam and loads of warm spices carry the nose, with a bit of alcoholic burn peeping through but not totally taking over. The medium-bodied palate shows a nice balance between rich fruit, supple tannin and bright acidity, making this a solid representation of Primitivo di Manduria. Alexander Peartree
