This is one of the early bottlings labeled Graciano, from grapes that were thought to be the Monastrell clone of Mourvèdre, and the future looks promising. A beautifully deep but not thick color in the glass, the wine offers aromas of fresh boysenberry, wet gravel, violet and tea on the nose. The palate is fresh with acidity and deep with blackberry flavors. Matt Kettmann
