A blend of nearly equal parts Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc with just a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon, this seems a bit older than its age might indicate. The palate is marked by dried cherries and leather backed by tart, puckering acidity and somewhat gritty tannins.
