Cliff Creek 2011 Sams Valley Vineyard Syrah (Southern Oregon)

This is a late release wine, but a bit of a boon for wine drinkers, who may open and consume it at will. Light cranberry, licorice, root beer and coffee flavors meld, with plenty of supporting acidity. It's a modest wine, with a quick finish, but drinks nicely at the moment. Paul Gregutt
