Produced from 40-year-old vines on a 15-acre vineyard, the wine is almost entirely Merlot. It has dense, dark tannins and signs of wood aging that will integrate with time. It is a very fine, rich wine with black-plum fruit flavors. The aftertaste brings out the acidity and black currant fruits.
