Ripe earthy aromas of berry fruits, compost and cheesy oak are disparate but good. A raw, grabby palate is bumpy as it deals flavors of berry fruits, cassis and aged cheese. While the finish lacks total harmony, this wine has enough power and quality of flavors to continue on.
