Visitors to Saint-Émilion will see the winery of Clos des Menuts right in the town center. The vines, on the plateau outside, have produced a ripe wine in the 2012 vintage. It's rich and soft, still with juicy black fruits and a smoky mildly tannic character. This will develop as a ripe wine to drink from 2018.
