93–95. Barrel Sample. Ripe black-cherry aromas lead the nose of this wine that's fruity while having just enough structure to promise aging. It's fresh and crisp, with a cut of structure in the background. The aftertaste brings out a smokier, toasty character that does show its future maturation potential.
