Clos Pepe 2002 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Dark and extracted, with scads of blackberries and cherries, and a flourish of Oriental spices, but seems to lack balance and charm. Too big for Pinot, hard and dense, and not likely to improve. Drink now.
