Clos Saint Sebastien 1992 Le C艙ur Grand Cru (Banyuls)

This is incredibly woody and earthy right from the start, with pronounced aromas and flavors of barrel, cigar box and tobacco leaf throughout. There are some leather and cocoa characteristics, as well as hints of burnt sugar and singed oak. The texture is still grippy and structured, with solid tannins and a lovely seam of orange oil that carries through to the spicy close. Lauren Buzzeo
