Among the 2011 Pinots from Coelho, this carries the most herbal, earthy scents and accents. Beetroot, black pepper and fertile soil bring a sharp edge to tart red fruits. The flavors hit a stiff wall of tannins that shorten the finish. More time in the bottle may help to open it up.
