Coeur de Terre 2017 Abby's Block Reserve Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

Some estates do well with many different block selections; others make more complete wines by blending blocks into a seamless whole. In this vintage, fruit from this block is thin and acidic, though it was the last to be harvested. Lemony and light, the acidity pretty much takes over, leaving just bare-bones generic red fruit.
