Coeur de Terre 2017 Renelle's Block Reserve Pinot Noir (McMinnville)

These vines were planted in 1999, and the winery notes that this is the “mother block” with a mix of eight different clones. It's the most complete wine among the 2017s, with purple and black fruits that run deep down through the palate. Plums, figs, berries and cherries provide a concentrated core, and the ripe tannins bring a touch of black olive. Paul Gregutt
