Cognac Leyrat XO Premium Cognac Domaine de Chez Maillard

The nosing passes find scents of palm oil, old leather, dried herbs and minerals. The palate entry tastes of meringue, light toffee, egg cream, and vanilla bean; by midpalate the flavors include marzipan, nougat, and candied nuts. Ends up sweet and satiny, but not profound. P.P.
