Collier Falls 2011 Hillside Estate Primitivo (Dry Creek Valley)

A bit rustic in style, it's got black currant, raisin and tobacco flavors and lots of peppery spiciness, and the finish is thoroughly dry. But there's a brusqueness to the tannins that makes it feel rough and edgy in the mouth.
