A bit lighter in color than most of the '99 riservas, but still a very nice wine offering easy drinkability. Toasty, foresty notes accent the nose, while the palate is sweet at the core with ripe plum and cherry. Excellent on its own; will certainly please. A Marc de Grazia Selection, various importers.
