Aromas of graphite, dark spice, rose and wild berry lift out of the glass, along with a whiff of chopped mint. The racy, elegantly structured palate offers juicy Marasca cherry, white pepper and star anise set against polished tannins. Firm acidity gives it a nervous tension. Drink 2022–2034.
