Colomé 2012 Altura Maxima Malbec (Salta)

This high-altitude Malbec, purportedly the highest in the world, seems to have touched the sun. This is flat-out stewed, pruny and flat, with floral grapy exotic aromas. It's not balanced and the acidity is very low, but still this offers some interesting notes. Michael Schachner
