This is a fine representation of straightforward, Washington state Cabernet, from an excellent vintage, with no frills. There's a whiff of watermelon, then clean cherry fruit in the mouth, accented with some mocha and cocoa from the barrels. It's forward, balanced and eminently drinkable.
