This wine aged for up to two years in wood, which shows in the toast flavors. The black-fruit flavors come from 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, as do the tannins. It is a dark wine, firm while having a juicy berry background. It could do with a few more months so wait until 2017.
