Concannon 2003 Reserve Syrah (Livermore Valley)

Concannon has struggled to get Syrah right for many years, and this is actually their best release in a while. It's a dry, full-bodied, robust wine, rich in tannins and fruit, with some potential for development. The blackberry, coffee and spice flavors will play well against a nice steak.
