Concannon 2008 Conservancy Cabernet Sauvignon (Livermore Valley)

Fruit-forward with big but managed tannins and structure. Concannon has done a nice job here with its Conservancy Cab, smelling of sweet cranberry relish, almost herbal on the nose like a Cab Franc (and its Central Coast Cab), and finishing with plenty of vanilla. Virginie Boone
