A big and bursting combination of healthy black fruit and copious French oak is manifested in the nose as bitter chocolate and plum pie. The palate is lively and full-bodied, with mature fruit flavors and velvety tannins, while plenty more of that bitter chocolate echoes across the finish. Michael Schachner
