Concha y Toro 2009 Casillero del Diablo Reserva Syrah (Rapel Valley)

Crisp plum and berry aromas are a little sharp while the oak element on the nose is drying. The palate is tight and fairly high in acidity, yielding herbal, minty flavors of raspberry and red plum. Short and solid on the finish, but clean and good overall. Michael Schachner
