This Maule Merlot is a bruiser with berry and cassis aromas accented by campfire and chocolate. In the mouth, it's drawing but lively, with firm acidity and toasty flavors of oak-rich blackberry and dark chocolate. At the end, it's tight, tannic and boasting a powerful oak character.
