Conde de Osborne Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva

The nosing passes find scents of beeswax, marzipan, burnt toast, honey, bacon fat, butter and caramel. Entry is big, pruny, Danish pastry-like and more bittersweet than sweet; the midpalate tastes delightfully toasted, of dried fruit, honey and a touch smoky. Ends clean, intensely bittersweet and pruny. P.P.
