Quite woodsy and mossy on the nose. The palate is actually pretty juicy and fresh by comparison, with plum and cherry flavors. The mouthfeel and tannins, however, are a bit raw and firm, so to avoid the evil clamp down we strongly suggest drinking this wine with food.
