Like its predecessor, the 2005, this wine has strong jalapeño, bell pepper and tomato leaf aromas. In fact, for a time it smells like salsa. The palate offers slap-you-in-the-face fruit and zest, while the finish is racy due to young, jumpy acidity. A nice wine with seafood appetizers.
