Vanilla and toast aromas are pleasant, as are the apple, pear and sweet coconut flavors. The finish is toasty, smooth and fairly long. Overall this spumante is a touch chunky and awkward, but it's also quite solidly structured, with good lemon-lime undertones. Best Buy. —M.S.
